Let Go Of Toxic People

There are times when you go into certain relationships and then realize that it is more than you bargained for. You know deep down that it is more than just someone who is not good for you; such relationship permeates every fibre of your being, takes over your life, gets in your head and hurt your soul. That is what is called a toxic relationship.
A toxic relationship can be with anyone: friends, siblings, coworkers, lovers, or a relative. It may even be more difficult to see a relative as toxic than a friend.
If you find yourself in a toxic relationship, don't try to manage it; you're worth much more than that. Don't waste your time thinking that they will change, most toxic people don't. Once you realize that a certain person does everything to make you feel bad or inferior, makes you lose your self worth; distance yourself immediately, run as fast and far as you can.
Although not all toxic people are cruel and uncaring. Some of them love you dearly, some have good intentions. Most are toxic to your being simply because their need and way of living force you to compromise yourself and your happiness. They aren't inherently bad people, but they are not the right people for you. As hard as it is, you have to let them go.
Life is hard enough without being around bad people who bring you down and diminish your self worth; and as much as you care, you can't destroy yourself for the sake of someone else.
People always think that the most painful thing in life is losing someone they value. The truth is, the most painful thing is losing yourself in the process of valuing someone too much and forgetting that you are special too.
You have to make your wellbeing a priority because you are a special being and the best of your kind.
Beloved, you're special; don't think low of yourself.

Shalom!!!
