The life that I now live

Momma conceived me in iniquity. I wallowed in my transgressions until i got tired of it I was introduced to this man of calvary who I was told died for me even before I was born. What a merciful man! Such overwhelming love  and peace I felt as I laid it all at his feet. Glory filled my soul. The old life of iniquity is gone. I am reborn. I'm a new creature. It is no longer I that live but the man who loved me so much to die for me. The life that I now live is totally renewed. I now work in his power. I now live in his presence. Pay a price for that prize

There's this biblical verse that always motivate me, it says: "do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may lay hold of the prize and make it yours." In anywhere we find ourselves in life, there's always a race, people are always competing for one prize/position or the other. Be it in the school or in our work place, everyone wants to be the best or be among the best. Either by hard work or crooked means, someone will eventually emerge as the winner. To be regarded as a winner doesn't come on a platter of gold, you have to strive for it and let go of every distractions that might want to hinder you. That you were not born with a silver spoon isn't enough reason why that prize can't be yours, you just have to strive for it. When I say strive, I mean you have to pay the price of diligence, persistence, consistency, perseverance and optimism to get that prize. Look at whatever fear that is clo...
