While you are waiting...

Recently, I was to travel via train from Ibadan to Kaduna with a friend. We got to the railway station around 1pm only for the officials to inform us that the take off time for the train was scheduled for 6:30pm. We were about 5hours early. Few hours later, we got news that the train was @ Abeokuta and I could see passengers rushing with their loads, people getting some stuffs to travel with, some others were buying food and water to sustain them throughout the journey (I was in this category, lol.) So we prepared ourselves while we were patiently waiting for the train.
In life's journey, there are moments of waiting. The wait may be short or long but either one, it isn't just the waiting that matters. It is what we do while waiting that matters. You can only be able to do something meaningful while waiting if you wait patiently and not in an antsy manner.
Develop yourself, expand your horizons, build your capabilities so that when the wait is over you can proudly say that it was worth it.
Murmuring or grumbling while the wait is on won't produce anything meaningful. It would rather amount to a total waste of time.
The fact that your peers are going through life hitch free doesn't mean you have to rush through life. Everyone has their moment of wait. That individual you are envying now has had his, if he had spent it grumbling like you; he won't be in that enviable position.
While you are waiting, do something worthwhile so that others can also envy you later.
While you are waiting; read that book, develop that skill, build up yourself, help others, do something meaningful.
The wait might not be easy, don't rush it, trust that process, go through it patiently.
Most importantly, while you are waiting; cast your eyes upon your creator(man will surely fail you), brighten any corner you find yourself, impact others. Wear a smile, don't go about as if the whole world is on your shoulders.
While you are waiting; be yourself, don't be a photocopy...
Beloved, the wait is almost over. Make it worthwhile
